Episode 109: A Stick of Butter or A Gallon of Ice Cream (The Great Scope Dairy Debate of 2011)

This episode of The Scope brings a brand new game and a lot of difficult choices. Like, for instance, which movie trilogy (Star Wars Special Edition or The Matrix Saga) would you rather watch? Yes, we here at The Scope pose moral dilemmas that literally rock the foundation of humanity. Sophie’s Choice ain’t got nuthin on us. But just wait until we start rapping about which milk-based product would be easier to consume in one sitting. That’s when things start getting real heavy.

Speaking of rapping (yes, this is a legit segway) your Scope hosts also review the latest album from the old white guys known as the Beastie Boys. If we didn’t follow that sentence up with something like, “Check-ch-check-check-check-ch-check it out…What-wha-what-what-what’s it all about” we wouldn’t be doing our job.

So there it is. Job done.

Scope episode 109 plans to snap into a Slim Jim, just for old time’s sake.

Episode 108: The Last Scope Ever? No, the Last Scope Ever! (Not Really The Last Scope Ever.)

What happens when your Scope hosts look decide to dig into some “long-forgotten” 1990s albums? (aka CDs, aka compact discs, aka shiny music containers that are now almost obsolete.)

Episode 108 of your favorite podcast happens, you fools!

Yes, The Scope crew retro-reviews three great (or not-so-great albums, depending on your perspective) from the past. And you can guarantee the results were nothing but pure hilarity*!

Penguicon RibbonsIf that weren’t enough, they also give an instant review of the first summer movie worth seeing, Thor. Yes, we have not accidentally forgotten Fast Five. We’ve intentionally forgotten it. Sorry, Vin.

The Scope episode 108 has a big hammer named, “Meow Meow,” and it knows how to swing it.

*The Scope is not legally responsible if listeners did not find the Retro Reviews full of hilarity. It’s a free show, people. You get what you get.
