Episode 129: How We Spent Our Summer Vacation (The Lamb Fries Edition)

Summer is almost over and you know what that means: two of the three Scope hosts return from fun in the sun to do the whole podcasting thing. (The other host thinks summer vacation should last into November and during assorted scheduled recordings throughout the year.)

At any rate, Jared and Shane have a lot to share…and it’s mostly about oddly popular state fairs and high school reunions that makes one feel old. So, basically, it’s a lot of catching up and a lot of cutting open veins. Hours and hours of it. At least we learn about what happens when people get tired of being bitten by angry cobras. (Hint: the human bites back.)

So fire up your podcast-receiving mechanism and get some Scope action, late summer style. It’s good to be back, right?

Episode 128: 2012 North Shore Spectacular – Ambush Trivia Edition

The Scope ain’t done with summer yet! Shane heads back to the shores of Lake Superior on his annual family vacation and he’s bringing a new twist to the fan-favorite family trivia segment.

This year, Shane (aka The Captain) teams up with music correspondent Al (aka The Maestro) and intern Teresa to put cousin Natalie through an intense week of pop culture and Scope-related trivia. The twist: Natalie has no idea when or where the game will strike. She’s constantly on edge…how will that impact her play? Load up this instant-classic episode of The Scope and find out!

The Scope episode 128 should be respected for its below-average New Zealand accent. Effort counts for something, right?
