Scope Special Edition: The Nerdification of Al (Star Wars: Episode IV)

Here’s the deal: Scope music correspondent Al is in his 30s. He’s totally tapped into modern pop culture. And he looks like a character from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. But the cold, hard truth is this: he’s never, ever seen a Star Wars movie.

So, in a moment that’s years in the making, Jared and Shane finally get Al to sit down, crack open a brew, and watch the first adventure of Luke, Han, and a couple of possibly-gay droids. Will this movie mean anything to a grown man that couldn’t tell the difference between a jawa and a Greedo? Spend a few minutes listening to a Very Special Scope Podcast and find out.

The Scope Special Edition: The Nerdification of Al wasn’t really on a diplomatic mission.

Scope Special Edition: Scoper Bowl V

For some reason,The Minnesota football Vikings and The Washington football/racist Redskins seem to play a lot of games against each other, even though they aren’t in the same division. It’s some sort of weird karmic thing that also happens to be aligned with the creation of a little podcast called The Scope.

So, for the first time ever, Adam, Jared, and Shane got together and watched 2012 contest between these two NFL teams. And, because they love you, the entire event was recorded for every Scope super-fan to enjoy. We’re talking quarter by quarter analysis of THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR. Or something like that.

Trust us, even if you don’t like organized sports, this Scope show has a little something for everyone. And Adam showed up, so that’s pretty rare in itself, right?

The Scope Special Edition: Scoper Bowl V isn’t quite sure what to make of the sweat panels found on the newly-designed NFL jerseys. Disgusting, right?
