Under The Scope | Movie Review: Project Almanac

In this, the latest Scope movie review, Jared and Shane tackle the Michael Bay produced teen-time travel and oft delayed motion picture, Project Almanac. This found footage film tells the story of a group of high school seniors who create a time machine and then go and muck up the space-time continuum. (Editor’s note: the word “time” was used three times in two sentences. Too much?)

Find out if your Scope hosts can make sense of the movie’s science, if they’d do anything for love, and if they can figure out where the movie’s main character’s mother disappeared to for most of the film. It’s high brow stuff.

The Scope Project Almanac review knows an XBOX-360’s graphic processor would never really be able to power a time machine. How bush league.

Episode 199: Trouble with Troubles

Now that 2014 is behind us all 2015 is marching along, your Scope crew is back with the first show of the new year. In this edition, Jared, Adam, and Shane chew on such topics as: Key West, measles, airplane catalogs, and the weight of Kindle books (they’re too heavy!)

Along with those topics, the boys chat about the upcoming Super Bowl game (Jared and Shane picked the Pats to win, Adam went with the Hawks by 1.) Basically, it was a show filled the rim.

So, please, won’t you start enjoying it immediately? The new year and the podcasting spirit will appreciate it!

The Scope episode 199 is scared of the two new Disney characters Measle Mouse and Rubella DeVille.

Under The Scope | Movie Review: Kingsman: The Secret Service

2015 is here and so is the first Scope movie review of the year! This time around, Jared and Shane spill all the beans about the Matthew Vaughn directed film, Kingsman: The Secret Service. This comic book movie (based off the Mark Millar comic, The Secret Service) stars a regal Colin Firth, a distinguished Michael Caine, and a zany Samuel L. Jackson.

And some punk named Taron.

So does this movie have what it takes to live up to the not-too-shabby comic? Does it have the power to stand up on its own? Well, why don’t you listen/watch the latest little ditty from your friends at The Scope and find out?

The Scope Kingsman: The Secret Service review questions Sam Jackson’s decision to talk in a goofy lisp. Sorry, Mr. Jackson.
