Episode 116: The Seven Mary Three Proposition

Yeah, your Scope crew took an extra week off between episodes. But the good(?) news is all three hosts are back, fully-charged, and ready to bring it. And, as a special treat, they invited music correspondent, Al, into the Scope studios to talk about his birthday party, cover bands, and sexy cop costumes.

This episode features what The Scope does best: talking about the latest and greatest of geek culture. What does that mean for you, the gentle listener? It means tons of video game and comic book conversation. And not one mention of Michele Bachmann, which is a good thing.

The Scope kids also break down the latest from Coldplay (which is the REAL reason Al is in the house) and bask in Adam’s usual fantastic telling of the news. All in all, it’s another jam-packed episode of geeky-goodness.

    Thanks for keeping me from getting too homesick, by letting me hear your Minnesota voices every few weeks!

    I worked at Redbox for three years, and the big drama was the Warner Brothers lawsuit from August 2009-February 2011, which was the window when we had to buy discs from independent sources every new release Tuesday. It’s over now, resolved by the 28-day delay, but that agreement is only good til February 2012, so check out reuters.com, or other news sources if you wanna know more.

    true story: Possible Oscar’s “talk nerdy to me” is the only song i have on my iphone. i purchased it to play before dnd the day after our show together. great set, and thanks again for playing!

    Just got done listening to ep. 114. I’m so far behind. This was not a happy episode. Lots of 9/11 talk.

    But I loved Adam’s joke. 🙂
