I love how your guys’ gaming stories sound like “old man fishing stories”. I’m sure in ten years, you guys will have been even awsomer “back in the day” at Street Fighter and Shane will talk about how he beat Superman on Atari as a fetus.

As for Kid Nation, I don’t get what we’re supposed to get from the show or more so, why does this show think America wants to see this. Are they trying to show adults that kids are smarter than we think or vice versa (living in the “real world” is harder than they think)? I don’t hate this show. I just don’t get it. (Adam help me out).

Looking forward to J-Jo’s new cd.

I guess I never feel I have to “get something” from a show. Yes, “Kid Nation” is shallow, but that doesn’t automatically make it bad. It’s kids trying to run a town, with much hilarity. Plus the other option is “Geriatric Nation”, which sounds way more boring.

I guess I was just wondering what bell went off in the producers’ heads that said, “this is a great idea” besides the points you guys already mentioned. I guess “Survivor” + kids = $$$ is the only motivation for them that I can think of.

“Geriatric School” could be a great show. A bunch of senile 70 year olds have to go through school Billy Madison style and do finger painting and spelling tests. We could actually see how bad our mental capacity is going to be when we get that age. Plus when the elderly students get to 10th grade, we can watch them all try to pass Safety Ed and their driver’s test. I realize Fox and Jeff Foxworthy (didn’t realize the silly irony between the names until now) are doing this right now to a much lesser degree.

I’m a little late to the party on this one. Just listened to it because I’ve been so busy with the new job and the play. “Urinetown” at Bloomington Civic Theatre. http://www.bloomingtoncivictheatre.org Come see the show. It closes Nov. 17th. It’s hilarious.

but I digress. Probably one of your more entertaining shows in a while. Well done. But no Soul Caliber? I have fond memories of kicking a majority of your butts on that game. 🙂
