Scope Special Edition: Autumn Film Blast

Hey, Scope Faithful. Your podcasting buddies are at it again. Seeing movies and reviewing them and stuff. Because you are loved, Shane and Jared (but mostly Jared) put together a special mini-edition of The Scope full of fall film reviews. The guys have a lot to say about the latest Oscar bait from Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, and Steven Spielberg. What is this? 1999 or something?

So stick around, listen to some podcasting, and get the final word on what’s turning out to be a pretty good movie season. If you ignore Red Dawn. (And you should, Scopers. You should.)

The Scope Special Edition: Autumn Film Blast will now end the sentence with the word, Gigli.

I saw Argo and Skyfall as well. I agree with everything you guys had to say about Argo. This movie is up there with Wallflower as my favorite movies of the year, which is great considering how different the two movies are. I did roll my eyes near the end as things happened to make the story more suspenseful. But I didn’t mind, as it was successful.

Also, while I think Jared’s a little too negative about Skyfall, I really got annoyed at Q plugging in the laptop to MI6’s network as well. Plus “Home Alone – James Bond edition” was a little silly.

Also, I hope the producers of Cloud Atlas listen to this review!
