Scope Special Edition: (The) Green Lantern Movie Review

Hello, Scope Faithful. We’ve got a good news/bad news situation. What, you say? You want the bad news first? Okay…The Scope episode 111 will be slightly delayed. But the good news? Jared and Shane present an instant review of the latest summer super hero film, Green Lantern.

Well, after listening to the review, it may also qualify as bad news. (Yes, that means that Green Lantern wasn’t all that spectacular.)

Your Scope team will be back soon with more hijinks and hilarity. That much we promise. But until then, please enjoy this little emerald nugget of motion picture analysis and criticism.

Thanks, Scope Faithful. Talk at you real soon.

The Scope Green Lantern Movie review special still wonders about the casting choice of Tim Robbins as Peter Sarsgaard’s Dad. (Full disclosure: Robbins is 52, Sarsgaard is 40. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.)

I wish I would’ve listened to this before going to see the film this evening. 🙁
